Poetrying these days

When my shallow pockets are full of worldly coins, I would leave home like a prodigal son. When my coins have all been spent, I would wake up to find myself in the wilderness, with nothing and nobody. Then I would return home to poetry. That’s where I belong. That’s where I live.
